How ATIO Can Help Your Business

Directory

The ATIO directory of members is a valuable tool for clients seeking language services. Contact the ATIO Secretariat to obtain a copy. The Secretariat also provides clients and the public with information on the various aspects and working conditions of the professions represented by ATIO.

Job Offers

ATIO provides a job offer distribution service which enables employers to contact professionals directly when they want to recruit translators, interpreters or terminologists. ATIO sends the job offers it receives directly to all its members.

Rates and Terms for Distribution of Job Advertisements
Rates effective January 1, 2012


Exclusive Mailing
To all Association members: $850.
To members in the Ottawa area: $550.
To members in the Toronto area: $550.

Combined Mailing
To all Association members: $550.
To members in the Ottawa area: $425.
To members in the Toronto area: $375.
Prices are for black on white printing only.

Terms
  1. The Association reserves the right to refuse any job advertisement.
  2. The Association requires written confirmation of the type of service requested prior to a mailing.
  3. The Association requires a copy of the advertisement ready for reproduction. This can be sent to the Secretariat of the Association by messenger or by E-mail.
  4. The Association assumes no responsibility for errors or omissions that may exist in job advertisements.
  5. The Association will charge the employer all taxes required by law.

Arbitration Committee

ATIO has an arbitration committee which plays an advisory role and to which members and clients can call on to settle any disputes concerning translation, interpretation or terminology work.
